Working in hospitality for over 5 years has been an eye opener. I have been able to meet people from all walks of life with different backgrounds and experiences. I realised how much more was out there. I became close friends with a lot of these people that lived all around the world and I did meet up with them eventually which made traveling a lot better!
I learned a lot about people and myself which has challenged me in all aspects which allowed me to grow from it. I have built skills and relationships that will be with me for a long time. I would recommend it anyone who is keen on trying something new. It will push you out of your comfort zone, but it is definitely fun and rewarding.
I do plan on working in the Finance sector which has been something I have wanted to do for a long time. Although, I still want to be involved with hospitality, so I will continue to build myself in that industry alongside it.
